Teresa Ladner Phillips' Obituary
Teresa Ladner Phillips, age 72 of Plano, Texas was born on December 24, 1947 in Jimtown, Oklahoma to Andrew and Frances Ladner. She passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her home, with her husband, Norman, by her side. They were married 35 years and made their home in Plano, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances; father, Andrew; paternal grandparents: Sylvester and Mattie Ladner and maternal grandparents: Mary and Joseph Northcutt.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Norman B. Phillips; stepdaughter, Tracie Bayliff of Canton, Texas; stepson, David Phillips of Fort Worth, Texas; stepson, William Phillips and wife, Carmen of Granbury, Texas; brothers: Phil Ladner and wife, Judy of Grand Prairie, Texas and Tony Ladner and wife, Diana of Arlington, Texas; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; nieces: Allayna Fuentes, Devin Erickson, Jordan Ladner, Candace Ladner, Tammy Ladner; 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
She was a resident of Plano and grew up in the suburb of Dallas, Texas (Oak Cliff) and was a graduate of Sunset High School (Class of 1966). She enjoyed a long career with MKT (Katy) Railroad in Dallas where she retired in 1987 to care for her parents and in laws until their deaths. She leaves behind a host of beloved friends and extended family by whom she will be sorely missed.
The family of Teresa Ladner Phillips will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:30 pm. also in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
