Tericia San's Obituary
On August 3rd, 1955, Tericia San was born in Battambang, Cambodia where she lived for 26 years and was married to Thoeun Yin and had two sons. She came to America in 1981, to create a better life for her family and had three more children. Her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother was the most important thing to Mom. Her perseverance helped her achieve many goals in life. She learned English, became a US Citizen and was able to accomplish one of her greatest goals – becoming a homeowner. She showed us love in many ways. She taught us to put family first, to always do the right thing, and to always work hard for what you want in life. She was dedicated to her religion and was giving towards her community. Mom was diagnosed with lymphoma and she battled the cancer to the best of her abilities and eventually passed away on August 7th, 2016. Through it all, she remained strong for her family. She is survived by her husband – Thoeun Yin, – her children – Nhak, Saryrath, Rosen, Peter and Rosie, her grandchildren – Brandon, Dacota, Aaliyah, Adrian, Aaron, Maddox, and Abby, her brothers – Billy, Chhay and Chheng San, as well as other relatives and friends. We ask that you please celebrate her life by keeping her in your thoughts, prayers, and to wish her well, as she moves on from life here on Earth and on to her new journey. Visitation is from 2:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday, August 12, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
