Terry W. Pratt's Obituary
Terry W Pratt, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on March 2, 2026. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Terry was born the second of a set of identical twins in 1938 in Mineral Wells, Texas, to J.D. and Mamie Pratt.
A graduate of Odessa High School and The University of Texas, Terry was forever an entrepreneur working in the oil and gas industry, as a commercial real estate broker, and as a novice author. Terry was an avid football fan following his beloved Longhorns each fall. He coached numerous youth sports teams and was always supportive of his children and grandchildren both on and off the field.
Terry is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Joan (Joanie) of Dallas; son Gregory (Allison) Pratt of Frisco, Texas; son Christian (Anna) Pratt of Orlando, Florida; daughter Felicia (Troy) Harper of Dallas along with 12 grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brother, Jerry D. (Carolyn) Pratt of Lantana, Texas; and sister-in-law Carol (Dennis) Flier, of Boynton Beach, Florida. Other surviving relatives include nieces and their families. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
