Terry Ronnell Shaw's Obituary
Terry Ronnell Shaw was born in Longview, Texas, May 3, 1952, to the parentage of Frank Shaw Sr & Shirley (Dedman) Shaw. He received his formal education at ITT Tech which paved the way for a successful career in engineering.
Terry was a loving and fun man, who dedicated over 2 decades of his life working for Recognition Equipment Incorporated (REI), as a Field Engineer. During this time, he earned the opportunity to travel, exposing him to various cultures that the world had to offer. He then worked for Everest College, guiding young and older souls alike to further their education. After retirement in 2016, he took an interest in golf. However, this alone was not enough to satisfy his social or mental appetites. So, he took a job at Lowe's Home Improvement where he got to meet and interact with a myriad of people that enriched his days.
He led his life with confidence. He taught his sons to have the same confidence in themselves. Terry Ronnell Shaw was a complicated man with simple beliefs. Stay true to your word, take responsibility for your actions, and try to be and do the best of your ability in any situation presented to you. Even though his body and mind may be at rest he will live on through our virtues and in the experiences and memories we shared with him.
His parents and his brother Maurice Shaw preceded him in death. He is survived by his three sons: Terry II, Murray, and Isaiah; three sisters Shera, Theresa, and Yvetta Shaw and brother, Frank Shaw Jr; grandchildren: Nazhir Shaw and Micah Shaw; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Terry has undoubtedly left behind a plethora of people that will miss him.
