Tessie Fields' Obituary
Mrs. Tessie Rae Fields, was born February 25, 1920, to Eva & Jim Tabb. She received her formal education at Central High School in Jefferson Texas. Her Christian walk began at an early age. She married Johnny Taylor, Sr., to this union five children were born, three sons and two daughters. Through this journey called life, as you know, things happen, and in the year of 1956 she married Mr. Thomas E. Field. Tessie was a devoted member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church until her health no longer allowed her to be an active fellowship participant. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 18, 2011. To greet her, and await with her, for that Great Getting-up Morning are; Her parents, Six sisters, Nellie Fisher, Dora Tabb, Ella Andrews, Addie Armstrong, Lee Nora Stewart, and Odie Johnson, as well as her Beloved, Thomas E. Fields, (the best step -father ever). What a Welcome Committee! She leaves to mourn, and cherish her memory, Thelma Taylor Lattimer (special-friend Wesley) Dallas; Johnny Taylor Jr. (Helena), Dayton, Ohio; Logan Taylor (Brenda), Jefferson, Texas; Jewel Taylor-Bluitt (Joseph), Dallas, and Robert Taylor (Bertha), Dallas; Along with, Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grand children, ten great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, including other relatives and friends, too numerous to list, all of whom she adored.
