OBITUARY
Thai Van Nguyen, 90 years old, was born on March 19, 1935, in Ha Dong, Vietnam and passed away on September 21, 2025, in Richardson, Texas. Mr. Nguyen was recognized for his religious devotion, sense of humor, and kindness. He found joy in life and cherished every moment with his family.
In 1953, while living in Ha Dong, Mr. Nguyen enlisted in the French Military. In 1954, when Vietnam was divided into North Vietnam and South Vietnam, he left the French Military and relocated to Saigon. He worked as a truck driver for various subcontractors and then as a Field Technician for an American Telephone Company.
In 1960, Mr. Nguyen married Hop Thi Bui. They had six children together. Their marriage lasted 54 years until her death in 2014.
In 1994, Mr. Nguyen and his family emigrated to Garland, Texas. He worked at Fujitsu, a telecommunications company, until his retirement in 2013.
Mr. Nguyen is survived by his 6 children, 15 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He will be deeply missed.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish in Garland, Texas on Saturday, October 4, at 8:00 AM.
