Thelma Davis' Obituary
Thelma Davis, 96, loving mother and grandmother, was born May 28, 1917 in Wilkes-Barre, PA and went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2014 in Mesquite, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Davis. Thelma leaves her family and friends to cherish their many precious memories of a life well lived. She is survived by her daughters, Florence Strawn (Leon) and Carolyn Smith (Ken); son, Ed Davis (Karin); five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The choir of angels just gained a new alto and piano player, and she will be missed by all who loved her down here on earth. We love you, Mom. Funeral service will be held at 12:30p.m.. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel. Memorials may be made to South Garland Baptist Church.
