Thelma Jean Jackson-Sharpe's Obituary
Born May 31, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away June 14, 2016 in Garland, Texas. Graduated with a BA in Education from University of Texas and a Masters in Education from University of North Texas. She retired after 30 years of teaching 1st grade and special education. She enjoyed reading, traveling and being with her family. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Preceded in death by father, John Henry Jackson; mother, Ruth Frances Hilburn-Jackson; and brother, John Henry Jackson, Jr. Survived by two children and their spouses; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
