Thelma Lucille Livingston's Obituary
On April 20, 2009, Thelma Lucille Livingston “Mammaw” died peacefully, just days before her 85th birthday. She was a sweet and cheerful lady who touched everyone she met. In her long life, she experienced much joy and too much sadness, including the loss of her beloved husband of forty-three years, Ronald, her son, Allan, and all eight of her brothers and sisters. She left behind many who loved her, including her son, Steve Livingston and wife Elaine, granddaughter, Holly Livingston and partner Deborah Hartley, grandson Michael Livingston, grandson, Doug Livingston and wife Kelly, granddaughter, Shannon Castello and husband Jeff, daughter-in-law, Linda Barner and husband Paul, great-grandchildren, Baker and Blaire Livingston and Ashley and Kristen Livingston, and many other family members and friends who were lucky enough to be part of her life. Her family is grateful to the staffs of Village Oaks at Farmers Branch and Vitas Hospice Care who gently guided her through her final challenge. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 12:30 PM, Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with minister, Brother Eddy Ketchersid officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 4144 N. Central Exwy., Suite 750, Dallas, TX 75204 or Vitas Hospice, 8585 N. Stemmons Fwy., Suite 700 S, Dallas, TX 75247.
