Thelma Elizabeth Harp Miskell, 85 of Canton, Texas passed from this life to her eternal life on September 26, 2020. She was born to the late William Luke Harp and Tiny Ida Howell Harp.
Thelma's first love was God, then family and friends. She loved her family so much and dedicated most of her life being a pastor's wife and homemaker. She was an incredible seamstress. She enjoyed bowling and watching game shows. She spent her life teaching of God's love and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Oscar Earl Miskell Sr.,
daughter, Judy Elizabeth Stokes; granddaughter, Teresa Ann Miskell; grandson, Jonathan Dwayne Miskell; and great granddaughter Bailey Ann Miskell.
She is survived by her children, Oscar Earl Miskell Jr. (Robin), Jeff Edward Miskell (Debbie) and Susan Elaine Hulsey (Scott); grandchildren, Sandra (Kevin), Amanda (Leon), Earl III (Angela), Candace, Coleman, Shalynn (Paul), Russell (Stephanie), Melody (Trevor) Stephen Miskell (Jessica) and Seth Miskell; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Billy Harp; sister, Mary Steele; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
