Thelma Ruth (T.R.) Thomas Dozier's Obituary
Thelma Ruth (T.R.) Thomas Dozier, formerly of Richardson, passed away on July 4, 2018. T.R. was born on July 16, 1925 to Minnie and Orville Thomas. She married Charles Dozier in 1946 and they had three children. T.R. was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Orville, her husband of nearly 48 years, Charles, her daughter, Kay Cutts, her son, Greg Dozier, and her son-in-law, Rick Martin. She is survived by her daughter, Rori and husband, Randy White, of New Braunfels, grandsons Tim Cutts and wife, Kristin, of Dallas, and Blake Martin of Austin, granddaughter Amy Brimer of Arlington, and step-grandsons Barrett White and wife, Colleen, of Menomenee Falls, WI, Byron White and Brek White, both of Dallas. She also leaves four great-grandchildren, Carson and Kacey Brimer, and Kendall and Connor White. T.R. was politically active her entire adult life and worked on many campaigns. She served as Vice Chairman of the Dallas County Republican Party, responsible for volunteer coordination, and made many life-long friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 9 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Funeral Services for T.R. will be on Tuesday, July 10 at 11:00 in the morning at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Road, in Dallas.
