Theresa Tillery Brown's Obituary
Theresa Tillery Brown, age 98, passed away October 23, 2021, in Balch Springs, Texas. She was born July 26, 1923, in Dallas, Texas to Louis Hildeman Sr. and Jessie Mae Hildeman. She graduated from Forest Avenue High School. She married Raymond Wilson Tillery in Gilmer, Texas on November 29, 1941, when she was 18 years old. They had two children during their marriage. They lived in Pleasant Grove, Dallas County until his death March 30, 1973. On July 28, 1978, she married Clarence William Brown. They resided in the White Rock and Lake Highlands area. She was a long-time member of Central Lutheran Church in Dallas, Texas for almost 40 years, and was a member of Elizabeth Circle and Dorcus Circle.
Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Louis Hildeman Sr. and Jessie Gaspero; step-father Johnny Gaspero; brother Louis Hildeman Jr.; 1st husband Raymond Tillery and her 2nd husband Clarence Brown; and grandson Randall R. Tillery Jr.
She is survived by her sons: Stephen Tillery and wife Carolyn of Balch Springs, Texas; Randall Tillery Sr. and wife Marian of Gun Barrell, Texas. Also to cherish her memory are 3 granddaughters: Kristi Rogers and husband Scotty; Misti Lloyd and husband Jeff; Amy Larson, and grandson Danny Brumfield and wife Kendra. She also leaves behind 12 greatgrandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Baby Girl, her beloved dog will also miss her.
A special thanks to the hospice team, nurses' Meg, Chris, Vicki and her aide Kima, Social Worker Teresa and Chaplin Stanley Joseph.
The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Wildwood Chapel - 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243
There will be an one hour visitation prior to service at the same location.
