Theresa Judith Carper's Obituary
CARPER, THERESA J. Age 91, peacefully passed away on July 10, 2011, in her Dallas home surrounded by loving family. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, 500 West Barton Avenue, Temple, Texas, with Denise Mikeska, Associate Pastor of Seaton Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be at Bellwood Memorial Park, 8575 Airport Road. Mrs. Carper was born March 27, 1920 in Seaton, Texas to J.J. Mikeska and Elizabeth (Motl) Mikeska. She was reared and educated in Seaton. She managed the Charcoal Inn in Temple, Texas before moving to Dallas in the 1970’s, and was a teacher’s aide for several years helping young children in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Carper, her parents, five sisters, and five brothers. Surviving is one brother, Leo Mikeska of Damon, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, their children, and cousins. Tracy was loved by all who knew her, known for her gentleness, kindness, and unconditional love through her words and actions. She will be greatly missed. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
