Theresa McKenna Kelsay's Obituary
Theresa went peacefully to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on November 30th, 2025.
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Theresa is survived by her daughter Dawn Head Harrington and husband David; son Steven Kelsay; daughter Susan Campbell and husband Danny; son-in-law Tom Head; granddaughters Haylie and Chelsea Campbell; and grandson Jason Head. She is also survived by her cherished siblings Mary McKenna and Raymond McKenna and his wife Carolyn, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 29 years, Paul; her parents, John and Blanche McKenna; and several beloved siblings.
Theresa was born in Barrington, New Hampshire, where she grew up sharing a home with her six sisters and three brothers. She graduated from Dover High School in 1963 and married the love of her life, Paul, before moving to Texas following his discharge from the Air Force.
Theresa worked as a Tax Accountant for Mobil Oil Corporation for 32 years before retiring. She devoted her life to her family and friends, especially her grandchildren — Haylie, Chelsea, and Jason — whom she adored and who were truly the light of her life. They lovingly called her “Gigi,” a name that all who loved her also came to call her.
She filled the lives of all those who knew her with joy, laughter, and abiding love. She especially cherished time spent at the beaches near her summer home in Wells, Maine; sharing stories over good meals; and singing and dancing to her favorite Elvis songs.
We will miss her infectious laughter, warm hugs, and kind soul. We love you, Gigi.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Restland Funeral Home on December 19th, 2025, at 2:00 in the afternoon, preceded by a viewing beginning at 1:00 in the afternoon.
