Theresa Ann Knudsen's Obituary
Theresa Ann Knudsen, 62, of Carrollton, Tx was born in Milwalkee, Wisconsin on September 5, 1961 to parents William (Bill) and Jean Svehlek. Theresa grew up in Menomonee Falls, WI and later moved to Carrollton in 1987.
At just the right time in her life, Theresa married her husband Eric on November 20, 2004. He brought immense happiness and peace to her life and they spent many years making memories together at church, in their community, with family, and with dear friends.
Theresa held an associates degree in marketing, however her life was fulfilled in her role as a teacher for over 30 years. She taught preschool at Holy Covenant ECDP for 15 years and later taught at Newfound Academy, a special needs school, for 15 years.
Aside from her professional role as a teacher, Theresa influenced the lives of countless children and their families in ways she couldn't have imagined, but so many of us experienced first hand. The profound impression she left on the hearts of these families will be lifelong.
Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Jean, brother Sam, and mother-in-law Marsha.
She is survived by her beloved husband Eric, sisters Mary Ellen and Charlene, brothers-in-law Greg, Mark, and Wade, sister-in-law Lora, countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, her church family, and many children whose lives she touched forever.
Theresa had a tender heart for all animals, specifically ones in shelters that needed forever homes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Humane Society of the U.S.
