Theresa Marie Lewis' Obituary
Theresa M. Lewis, 82 of McKinney Texas, passed away peacefully, in her home, on June 7th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Theresa (Terry) was born April 13th 1941 in McAdoo, Pennsylvania. Parents Michael and Cecelia Draus, siblings Michael and Carolyn, who preceded her in death. Terry was raised in the Catholic Church and graduated Ferris High School, in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Terry had three children born in New Jersey, Michael, Dana and Jenee’. Terry and her family lived in Lyndhurst, New Jersey until December 1980, where she then moved to Garland, Texas.
Terry met and married Charles (CW) William Lewis on July 3rd, 1981 in Casa Linda Church in Dallas, Texas. Terry and CW blended their family, Michael, Dana, Jenee’, James and David upon marriage.
Terry spent her life doting over her family. She spent her days attending choir performances of her daughter, soccer games of her granddaughter, football games of her grandson, and sporting events of her great grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to support her family or attend an event.
Terry loved people in general. She never met a stranger. She loved to entertain and cook and have holidays in her home throughout her life.
Terry loved to travel. She visited many places throughout her life, including Alaska, Hawaii and Aruba. She genuinely loved to visit new places and try new foods. Many of her vacations were to meet with and to visit her family.
Terry is survived by her husband Charles W. Lewis, her son Michael Tesauro and wife Tracy Tesauro, her daughter Dana Godfrey and husband Trey Godfrey, daughter Jenee’ Harris and husband Jeremy Harris, step son James Lewis and wife Wendy Lewis, and step son David Lewis and wife Autumn Lewis.
Grandchildren are Meghan Estep, Amanda Godfrey, Michael Tesauro Jr., Ashley Godfrey, Olivia Tesauro, Colston Harris, Blake Lewis, Hunter Lewis, Claire Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Grace Tesauro, Grayson Harris, Charli Harris.
Great Grandchildren are Corbin, Avery, Hayden, Jackson, McKenzie, Dylan, Jax, Aiden, Reese, Quinton, and Sophia.
