ATHANAS, THOMAS was born on July 31, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to Gully and Janula Athanas. He passed away on March 15, 2014 in Plano, Texas. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Athanas; his parents Gully and Janula Athanas; sister, Florence Mastis; and brother, Pete Athanas. Thomas is survived by his children, Hugh Athanas, Lisa Young, Thomas Athanas, and Mark Athanas; grandchildren, Alexander Athanas, Traci Athanas, Dylan Athanas, and Madison Young; goddaughter, Debbie Dugan; sisters, Dorothy Lake and Angie Gaddis; son, Spiro Athanas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Vistation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Holy Trinity Greek Church. Service wil be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM also at Holy Trinity Greek Church, 13555 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, Texas 75240.
