Most of my memories of Uncle Buddy was when Nelvin, Carla and I were kids; summers at the farm in Martinsburg. The stories that Uncle Buddy told were rich in life, some funny, some corny, but we all were willing to hear them for the 20th time. When Uncle Buddy together with Grand Daddy Fritts spouted a story, it was legendary. Every tale contained a dose of simple wholesome living. I have told these stories of life to my older kids; too many times according to them, and will tell them to our youngest Lily, when she is old enough to appreciate. Thank you Uncle Buddy for the heritage you left. Rest in peace.
