Mr. Thomas Goodrich's Obituary
Thomas Goodrich was born on November 3, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee to Thomas Franklin, Sr. and Julietta (Robinson) Goodrich. He passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in Carrollton, Texas. He was 74 years of age. Tommy met his wife Alice and gave life to two beautiful daughters, Erica and Melissa. Tommy was a simple man who had dreams that were seldom spoken and his wants were very few. Most of the time his worries went unspoken too. Tommy cared deeply for his wife and children. His daughters blessed him with five wonderful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers, two sisters, and one great grandchild. Tommy will always be missed and in our hearts. God saw Tommy getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him and whispered: “Come to Me”. The family will receive friends at Restland Funeral Home in staterooms C-D beginning at 10:00 am, Monday, June 26, 2017. About 10:45 am, there will be a short procession to Restland Memorial Park for an 11:00 am graveside service in the Garden of Eternity. Tony Clark will officiate. Cody Aviles, Ryan Aviles, Jack Santorum, Nicole Tye, Philippe Tye, and Kenny Wright will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are under the care of Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Love Leaves A Memory Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, Unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear. For Death leaves a heartache No one can heal, And love leaves a memory No one can steal.
