Thomas (Tom) Jonas' Obituary
Born on April 20, 1940 in Chicago, IL and passed away on August 21, 2013 in Dallas, TX. Tom served in the Navy. He retired from AT&T after 24 years, then worked for The Sabre Group, and retired there. Tom enjoyed hunting, traveling, sports, and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyda & Elmer Jonas.Tom is survived by his wife, Brenda Jonas, Grand Prairie, TX; daughter, Christina Jonas, Dallas, TX; sons, Troy Jonas, Indianapolis, IN; David Jonas, & Michael Jonas, Dallas, TX; step-son, Darrell Moore, Irving, TX; grandchildren, Michael Ray Jonas, Dallas, TX; Vivian, Ashton & Shepherd Jonas, Indianapolis, IN; sister, Charmaine Fuquay & husband, Gary, Euless, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and family. Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 26th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church (Baker’s Chapel), Grand Prairie, TX. Burial will be at Restland Dallas. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Grand Prairie, TX, or a charity of your choice.
