Thomas R. Lanz's Obituary
Thomas R. Lanz of Dallas passed away on August 20, 2019. On his final days he was surrounded by his family and friends.Tom was born February 8, 1955 in Aberdeen, Maryland to Robert and Shirley Lanz. He graduated high school in Leominster, MA and received his BBA from McMurry University. He was employed by Mag Lock Tools as Vice President of Sales.He loved being with his family, helping them in any way he could as well as gardening and his dogs. His passion and greatest joy was golfing and loved playing with his brothers, always looking forward to the competition. He was a scratch golfer with several “hole in one’s”.Those who knew and loved Tom will always remember a kind, caring and gentle man who made our lives fun and filled with laughter. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert P. Lanz, and his brother Paul D. Lanz.He is Survived by his mother, Shirley Lanz, brothers Tim, Scott and wife Joanne, nephews Brandon and Steven and brother Phil and wife Debra Lanz.We cannot find the appropriate words to express the pain in our hearts. This young man will be sorely missed.Private Services will be at Restland.
