Thomas L. Loyd, 56 of Garland, TX passed away on September 2, 2020 in Garland, TX. He was born on November 20, 1963 to Darrell Loyd and Molly Loyd in Dallas, TX. He married Tracey Lee Hayes on September 9, 2000 in Garland, TX. He was a Service Coordinator at Huffines Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram of Plano, TX for 10 years. Tommy was a very talented musician & artist who always had the creativity flowing. He enjoyed attending classic muscle car shows and considered himself a die hard fan of MOPAR (and had no problem sharing his opinions on such). To say that he was an avid animal lover would merely be scratching the surface; Tommy always had a pocket full of treats at any given time. Tommy's coworkers even nicknamed him the "bird whisperer" due to his uncanny ability to domesticate wild grackles by feeding them goldfish crackers directly out of his hand. The love and affection he showed for his Yorkies was unbridled at best; he spared no expense in showering them with toys and treats on a regular basis. So when Pipsqueak died, it came as no surprise to the insurmountable devastation that he felt over the loss of his "little buddy". Tommy was a kind and loyal man who loved his wife deeply from the first day they met over 25 years ago. They often referred to themselves as 'TNT' and shared a matrimonial bond like no other. His untimely passing was just a week shy of their 20th wedding anniversary for which they had a week-long getaway planned. Tommy loved to make people laugh. His goofy, sometimes quirky sense of humor always left you with a giggle (or scratching your head). Whether it was GIF files, prerecorded weather reports, or just a quick phone/video call to say hello, he made sure that you got your daily dose of laughter (regardless of the time of day); the same can said of his opinions, he made sure you knew those too). He is survived by his wife, Tracey Loyd of Garland, TX; stepson, Justin Hayes (Karen) of Richardson, TX; brothers Lonnie Loyd of Denton, TX, and Tim Loyd (Alli) of Denton, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Loyd (passed on July 13, 2013, and his mother, Molly Loyd (passed on August 26, 2016).
