Thomas Harold Robertson's Obituary

Robbie, as he was known by his friends, was born October 2, 1938, to Ronnie & Albertine Robertson in Crockett, TX. He graduated from Crockett High School in 1957 and enlisted in the US Air Force as a Radio Repairman on May 31, 1957. He served on many military bases worldwide, before returning to Crockett to marry Anna Louise Gibson on October 4, 1963. Together they raised three girls while he served his country before retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant in May 1977 and moving to Plano, Texas.
He started his post-military career as an Electrical Engineer with Electrospace Corp. in Richardson, TX. Many of his military friends he served with worked with him here over the years too. In 1989, after a few mergers, he and Anna transferred to Waco with Raytheon. He was a Project Manager on many different projects, and still spent his time working with aircraft both for military and commercial sector. Robbie enjoyed playing cards, and golf with his friends. He was very handy, with there being nothing he could not fix. He had a wood-working shop at home that many would be envious of and loved to build things.
He and Anna loved to travel and spent time almost every summer going to Colorado. They also loved Hawaii and spent their 45th wedding anniversary on the island and renewed their wedding vows while there.
Robbie and Anna were married for 56 years, before she passed away in March 2020.
In October 2020, he moved to the Delaney of Lake Waco, where he made many new friends. He organized a weekly “42” game with friends, which turned into them playing dominos 3 days a week. And he still met with friends from Raytheon every few weeks for dinner. These were some of his favorite times while he was there. He is now with his bride again.
Robbie is survived by his daughter Teresa Whiten and husband Mark, of Magnolia; daughter Sheri Grounds and husband David, of McKinney; daughter Janet Killian and husband Scott, of Cypress; grandchildren Jacob Price, Dustin Price and wife Tessa, Alex Whiten and wife Christy, Andy Whiten, Trey Whiten, Logan Grounds, Rachel Grounds, Parker Killian, Matthew Colgan and wife Kaeli, Taylor Killian; great grandson Nathan Price; Sister-in-law Sarah Singleton; and many nieces and nephews.
