Thomas Smith was born December 15, 1942 in Hunt Co., Texas and passed away On April 16, 2019 in Mesquite, TX. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Anne Bruck, by a grandson, David Lee Ashlock, Jr. and by a sister-in-law, Caroline Smith. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Smith, son, Wes Lee Fields, daughter, Jan Ashlock and husband, David, 13 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren, sister, Claudine Anderson and husband Don, Brother’s, Benjamin Smith and wife Carrie, Curtis Smith, Jr. and wife Barbara and David Smith.Thomas was a retired realtor and co-office manager for the Cal Wilkins Realtors with over 30 years services.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Restland Funeral Home and his celebration of life will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019 In the Restland Wildwood Chapel.
