In 1951, TJ married the love of his life, Betty Jo Sutherland, in Atoka, Oklahoma. Their enduring love and commitment stood as a beautiful example to those around them. He worked hard throughout his life and found joy in helping others, often sharing life stories, teaching practical skills, and offering wisdom drawn from experience.
A proud veteran, TJ served in the Army National Guard. His service, humility, and integrity remained cornerstones of his character throughout his life.
TJ had a passion for watching competitive sports, going to the gym, doing yardwork, and tending to his flowers. These simple pleasures reflected his appreciation for discipline, nature, and life’s small joys.
