Thomas Lee Toland, II's Obituary
Thomas Lee Toland, II, 54, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away on July 26, 2022.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Monday, August 22, 2022, in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park. Entombment will follow in the Abbey Mausoleum at Restland Memorial Park.
Thomas was born on May 9, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, to Stanley Pendleton Toland and Janice Jane Stephens Toland.
He was a graduate of the Winston High School in Dallas. Thomas learned a degree in radio/television from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. While at SMU, he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Thomas then worked in television and was known for producing television programs in the Texoma region and as a movie reviewer. He then went on to become a Registered Nurse after obtaining a nursing degree from Texas Woman's University in Denton.
Thomas was a graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2002. With his background in nursing, he represented clients with Social Security disability claims.
Thomas was a member of the South McAlester Masonic Lodge #96 and a 32nd-degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of McAlester, Orient of Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Pendleton Toland.
Thomas is survived by: his mother, Janice Toland; his brother, James "Jimmy" Anderson; his sister, Dawn Anderson (Ben) Bolton; and several nieces and nephews.
