Thomas E. White's Obituary
Thomas was born on June 6, 1932 in Hope, Arkansas. His parents were Verna and Earl White, their only son. Tom passed away on December 20, 2025 at his home in Richardson, Texas surrounded by his family.
Tom grew up in El Dorado, Arkansas where he met and married his high school sweet heart, Jerry Ann Reynolds, in February, 1955. After marriage, Tom and Jerry moved to Texas and Tom began his career at Chance Vaught as an electrical engineer. Tom went on to earn his Masters degree at SMU in Electrical Engineering. During Tom’s time there, he made many friends. His career ended with retirement in 1989 after working at E-Systems (Now Raytheon) for 31 years.
Tom and Jerry had two children, Daniel (deceased December 17, 2013) a Richardson Police officer and Steve who followed in Tom’s footsteps with a long career at E-Systems/Raytheon.
A devoted family man, Tom took great pride in providing for his family and those he loved. His strong work ethic, steady presence and quiet strength were hallmarks of his life. He enjoyed shooting skeet, going on river trips in Arkansas and playing golf.
Tom is preceded in death by his son Daniel and his grandson, Brian Thomas White.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Jerry Ann his son Steve, daughter-in-law Tracy and grand -daughters Kendall Holland and Amy White. He is also survived by Kendall’s husband Jon Holland and two grandsons Elijah and Andrew Holland.
Thomas Eugene White will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his integrity, and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
