Thong Thoi Ngu's Obituary
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Thong Thoi Ngu, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully departed this life at the age of 82.
Thong was born in Vietnam on February 23, 1943. He immigrated to the United States in 1979 with the goal of improving his family's future. Through hard work and perseverance, he established a new life in America. Thong held various manufacturing jobs during his career, contributing to his community and supporting his family. He worked hard to raise his four children, giving them the support they needed to chase the American Dream and build their own successful lives.
A devout Buddhist, Thong dedicated many years to serving his local temples, where his kindness, humility, and spiritual devotion made a lasting impact on all who knew him. His faith and love for his family were central to everything he did.
Thong leaves behind his beloved wife, Anna Ngu, with whom he shared a life full of love and memories. He is also survived by his children: his oldest daughter, Angela Le, and her two children, Hannah and Daniel; his oldest son, Uy Ngu, and his wife Diane, along with their children Schuyler and Cason; his middle son, Du Ngu, and his wife Becky, and their children Ethan and Tony; and his youngest son, Liem Ngu, and his wife Nycki, with their children Olivia and Max. Thong will be dearly missed by his entire family, extended family, and friends.
Thong’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his love, wisdom, and generosity. A celebration of his life will be held on April 25th at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX. Flowers are very appreciated; however, the family prefers donations be made to Chùa Đạo Quang Temple in his honor.
