Tim Black (68) passed away on Feb. 13, 2023 due to complications associated with a recent surgery. Tim was well-known in the Commercial Real Estate sector where he was a Sr. Vice President in the Land Division at Henry S Miller Co, Inc. He initially followed in his Father’s footsteps (Captain Harold Fred Black), joining the Dallas Fire Department when he was just 19. Tim put himself through college at the University of North Texas while he worked full-time at Dallas Fire Department. A Captain at DFD introduced Tim to someone in Real Estate and Tim worked Real Estate and the DFD until he decided to pursue the Commercial Real Estate path.
Tim is survived by his spouse of (36) years, Susan, daughters Natalie Erin Mathew (Roshan), Jill Ann Black, step-daughter, Kelly Hainlin, brother Barry Glenn Black (Denise) sister Karen Lynn Eagle (Larry) and (3) grandchildren, Elliott Mathew, Madison Hamill and Emily Hamill along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
