Timothy Paul Bordelon's Obituary
Of Hideaway, Texas. Born October 17, 1946 in Dallas, Texas. Passed away August 13, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by parents Jack and Pauline Bordelon. Survived by son Jason Bordelon and daughter-in-law Amy; daughter Mary Ambelang and son-in-law Bryan; sisters Lynn Dodson (Richard) and Roxanne Bordelon; brother John Bordelon, Jr.; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim served his country in the United States Army and he retired from the Dallas Police Department Northeast Subdivision as a Sr. Corporal 1n 2008 after 40 years of service. Tim loved to ride his Harley and play golf. The family will receive visitors on Sunday evening, August 16th from 6pm to 8pm at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, August 17th at 12:30pm at Restland with Rev. Steve Chappell officiating. Honorary Pall Bearers include Tim Bordelon, II, Jim Bordelon, Seth Bordelon, Richard Dodson, Jr., Bill Monroe, G.R. Culpepper, Jim Shivers and Fred Rich. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. A service will be held in Tim’s honor at 12:30 pm, Monday, August 17, 2009 in Restland’s Memorial Chapel, with interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park, Court of Veterans IV.
