If as psychologists we can leave even a part of the legacy of lives touched in a supportive, healing manner as testified to by those whose lives were touched by Tim Fjordbak, we will have made the world a better place by bringing light to everyday life as well as circumstances of darkness and despair. –Tim Branaman, Ph.D., Chair, Texas State Board of of Psychologists
Eddie and Family, Barbara recently told me about your brother's untimely death. Our hearts are saddened by what you are enduring. I remember Tim at your marriage with Deb. Then my husband and I saw him somewhere else – possibly church where I introduced my husband to him. Tony and I send our love and condolences as well as our prayers. Because it is only God's Holy Spirit that can heal the pain. We think of you often and pray that you will have abundant precious memories of your brother in the years to come. Karen and Tony Longoria

To The family of Dr. Fjordbak, In all this pain and sadness, I must share with you a beautiful memory I will always treasure of Dr.Fjordbak. I was probably the last person to be with him before his tragic death. We talked for about 20 minutes, different things, some work related, some of the things that had happened in his life these last few years. He worked as we talked, but he was in a good mood, happy and looking forward to discussing some work related issues once I got back to my office after attending a required meeting. Dr.Fjorbak was a very caring person. He cared for people and one could feel it. He shared his knowledge with all, never making you feel you were less important. I would often hear him late in the afternoon talking with the cleaning crew and their conversations were of sports, world events or just a reply to "How are you doing today?" We were all so blessed to have had Dr.Fjorbak in our lives, however short that time was. It will be difficult to return to work next week and have to face his empty office across the hall from mine but I will always carry the memory of our last conversation and that he was laughing and happy. I feel very blessed to have had him be a part of my life. God rest his soul. Elva Gaytan-Smallwood

Ann, I cannot comprehend the loss that you are experiencing at this time. May you and your family be surrounded by God's loving arms and may you find strength to endure this tragedy. Tim was a warm and compassionate man and a very good friend. He treated our two granddaughters as though they were part of his family. Whenever our oldest grand daughter talked to him, her voice would lower and she would say in a sweet voice, "Hi Uncle Tim." You could visibly see Tim melt and he would always break out in a big smile. We enjoyed going to Georgia football games with Tim and simply having him visit our home. We shared much laughter and many tears with Tim over the 30 years we have known him as we shared the good and bad of life. He was very passionate about his work. Although his life was cut short, he accomplished much. To have a great friend is one of the most precious joys of this life. We celebrate his sweet life and share in the grief of everyone he touched. Most of all, we will remember that he would always end our conversations by saying "I love you guys." Our hearts go out to the Fjordbak family and we wish you comfort during this difficult time. May God bless you. Tony and Karen Murray Gainesville, GA
