Timothy Dwight Hager's Obituary
Timothy Dwight Hager, 64, of Richardson, passed away peacefully after a sudden illness, on October 9th, surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born in 1955 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Don and Doris Hager. The family moved to the Dallas area when Tim was a child. He graduated in 1974 from J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson and then attended Richland College. He married his love, Linda Lee (White) Hager in 1976, and they were blessed with two sons, Austin Lee and Colton Don.Tim was a beloved and devoted son, brother, husband, father, and friend. He had a real gift relating with people and always left you with a smile. Tim was a friend to all; he never knew a stranger, and had a great sense of humor. He worked with and successfully managed ERA All Star Realty along with his parents, Don & Doris Hager. He later started his own luxury custom home building business, Hager Homes. Tim had a keen eye for detail and quality which he poured into his beautifully built homes. He achieved many accomplishments both in real estate and in custom home building. Tim was twice the recipient of the“McSam” award, an honor given by the Dallas Builders Association for Builder of the Year. When younger, Tim was quite an accomplished water skier, and spent a lot of time at the lake. He loved boating and was an avid lifelong fisherman. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Tim was a member of Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson.His wife and sons were his biggest source of joy and pride. He was thrilled to have recently become a grandfather with the birth of his first grandson, Conroy Lee Hager, son of Austin & Melissa Hager. Family – immediate and extended, meant the world to Tim.Tim is survived by his wife, Linda, sons Austin (Melissa) Hager and Colton (Juliana) Hager, grandson, Conroy Lee Hager; sisters Vickie (David) Sward and Teri (Mark) Waterman, and many beloved nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents Don and Doris Hager.Please join us for a service celebrating Tim’s life on Monday, October 14th at at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX. 75243. Visitation begins at 9:00 am, followed by the service at 10:00 am at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Cemetery.
