Timothy John Worrall's Obituary
Timothy John Worrall of Fort Worth, Texas was born July 5, 1963 to Gerald and Norma Worrall of Dallas and passed away January 10, 2015. He grew up in Lakewood and graduated from Skyline High School, Dallas in 1981. He received a BA in Literature from University of Texas at Dallas, 1991, an MA in English, (Creative Writing) from Notre Dame in 1995 and was a PhD Candidate in Literature at University of Texas at Dallas, 1995-1998. Tim was a gifted communicator and teacher. He always enjoyed the classroom. He taught at Notre Dame, UTD, Trinity Preparatory Academy, and for the past seven years, at Trinity Valley School in Ft. Worth. He also enjoyed writing, playing drums, swimming, literature and movies. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Ruth Worrall, Jack and Helen Saulsman, and his sister, Michelle Worrall. He is survived by his parents, Norma and Gerry Worrall, his sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Steve Moore, his brother and sister-in-law, Gerry and Jan Worrall, his niece, Ashley, her husband Mitch and their daughter Caitlin, his niece, Lane, his nephew, Marshall and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tim’s humor and wit entertained many a gathering of friends and family and will be terribly missed. In his youth, Tim loved participating on swim team and other sports at the former East Dallas YMCA. Memorials may be directed to the White Rock YMCA at 7324 Gaston Ave., Suite 300, Dallas, TX. 75214, or other charitable organizations of your choice. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Northridge Presbyterian Church, followed by a reception, 6920 Bob-O-Link Dr., Dallas, TX. 75214.
