As I am sitting here at work, childhood memories popped into my head as so did Mrs. Larimer. I wondered what became of her since I last saw her at Herbert Marcus Elementary School. I googled her and found that she passed away a few years ago. The news brought tears to my eyes….I loved her and that whistle of hers, those bright colored jump suits and the old car she use to drive. She was a huge part of my life; I was in her gym class from kinder – 6th grade. I am now 31 years old. I love you Mrs. Larimer.
I worked with Tina at Marcus Recreation Center when Harold was sick. She was such a sweet and lady and such an inspiration to me. I ran across a card from her today, and was just wondering if she was still around and found that she had passed away. I'm sure you have missed her dearly, but I can just see her blowing her whistle rounding up the kids in heaven to play a game. What a sweet lady! Denise Dangelmayr
