Tita Antonio Dungao's Obituary
Tita, Mommy, Lola passed on April 29, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Garland, Texas. She would not have it any other way but to be surrounded by her family. We watched her take her last breath when God’s gate of heaven opened and God called her home. She was 88 years old.Her profession was a dentist. Though she chose not to practice after we moved to the US, she became a working mother and a homemaker. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. Her home cooked meals were the best! No one was ever hungry in our family. We were always overly fed and cared for. Tita had an unwavering faith in God. She showed her family the importance of prayer and to accept the path God has chosen for us. She was also a mother of good examples. She gave out of love and expected nothing in return. She loved playing the piano. Her love for piano sparked talent in some of us. This list can go on and on, but unmentioned good traits, virtues and happy memories are for her family to remember and cherish. These traits are engraved in the individual’s heart of those who have learned from her.Tita was predeceased by her loving husband Tacito Dungao. She is also survived by her 5 children – Maximo and his wife Shirley. Raymond and his wife Rina. Rowena, Jennifer, and Josephine with husband Alban. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Grace, Jackie with husband Bob, Michelle with husband Steve, Nicole with husband Nick, Madison with wife Alyssa, Michael, Frances and Christian. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren – Johnny, Sofia, Adelina, Maxton and Scarlett. We are all so fortunate and so blessed when God loaned her to love and guide us.Her daughter Rowena, lived and cared for her for 10 years and her loving niece, Jackie was always assisting and visiting her Lola. We are also fortunate to have Christine. She is family to us and has always provided loving care for mom.
