Dr. Tom Prickett Jr.'s Obituary
PRICKETT, JR., DR. TOM was born May 23,1921 in Mexia, TX and died April 10, 2013. He served in the United States Navy as a Communication Officer on the USS Wasatch. He received his PHD in Engineering from Texas A&M and worked for Atlantic Refinery where he received 38 patents. Tom worked for Collins Radio for 24 years. He was preceded in death by daughter, Cathy. Tom is survived by his wife of 67 years, Caroline; son, Tom III; daughter, Cindy; grandchildren, Ryan, Robert, William, Amy, Caroline and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Richardson with interment at Restland Memorial Park. Tom will be dearly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. As Tom would say, “God Bless You”.
