My name is Nick Wright and I’ve been an attorney in Dallas for 47 years and MACK and I practiced together for over five years. We had a painting in the lawfirm lobby of men out in a field, with their heads covered, hunting, waiting to find their prey. The painting was sort of an impressionist painting, and some rather uneducated people came into our lobby once for a consultation and thought that it was a painting of slaves picking cotton. They got very upset but Mack did a great job of coming out to calm them down. It was incredibly funny.

I have only just learned that Mack has passed from this world and am very sad to hear about this. I know his wife and daughters, grands and great grands will miss him but surely know how blessed they were to have had him to lead their family. I was Mack’s legal secretary for many years and probably gave him a headache or two, but I think he was proud that I did follow through with finishing my undergrad, going to law school and establishing my busy solo in Royse City. I only wish I had taken the time for one more visit. Thank you, Mack, for putting up with me and the kindness to my family over the years.
