My mother, Lois Gattis, and Ms Caudle became friends back in the early '40's, and kept up with each other through Christmas cards and some visits until my mother's death this past November. Her Christmas card arrived every season during my growing up years, and I came to look for it. We have enjoyed talking and corresponding, and visiting with Ms Caudle over the past years ourselves. We will miss her, but maybe she and my mother are holding a loving conversation right now.
O my sweet sweet friend, we go back a long time to the old Continental Trailways days. I will miss the Christmas card from you every year. May you rest in piece my dear friend. God Bless You.
