Tommy C. McAnally's Obituary
Tommy C. McAnally, age 78, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 30, 2017. Born August 30, 1939 in Pampa Texas, he is son of the late Richard D. Haines and Mary E. (Bailey) Haines. He is survived by this beloved wife of 59 years, Sandra (Hunsucker) McAnally.Tommy was in the Navy for 11 years from 1958-1969, where he was First Class Petty Officer and awarded a Bronze Star. After owning his own instrumentation business, Tommy later retired from Unitron Inc. as a Customer Service Manager. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, NASCAR and visiting and playing cards with friends. Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.He is survived by his wife Sandra; daughter Melissa Askey and husband James; son Todd McAnally and wife Melody; grandchildren Aaron McAnally and Margaret McAnally; sister Delores Whitmore; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.He is preceded in death by his parents Mary E. Haines and Richard D. Haines, and brother Jerry A. McAnally and his 9 uncles.The family has requested that visiting hours be observed at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, November 2, 2017. A funeral service for Mr. McAnally will be held at 3:00pm Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Restland Cemetery in the WildWood Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
