Tony Leon Marsh's Obituary
Tony Leon Marsh, 76, passed away peacefully in his sleep July 19, 2022 at his Weatherford, Texas home.
Tony was born September 4th, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas, the son of William Edward and Naydean Hanna Marsh. He had three brothers who he dearly loved. He grew up in San Antonio and Amarillo, Texas. He married his first wife, Diana, in 1961 and had 2 daughters. He married his second wife, Sherry, in 1975, and they had a son and daughter.
Tony was known for his love of the wild, wild west, long road trips, and his unique sense of style. Never scared to gamble on himself, Tony took life by the horns, making his imagination come to life. This world was his playground, and he took every opportunity he had to make his dreams come true, never fearful of others’ thoughts or opinions; always fearless to take life on, one day at a time.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill and Jerry; late wife, Sherry; and nephew, Dean.
Survivors include his brother David Marsh and wife, Kim; his four children: Stacy Clermont, Melanie Marsh and wife, Debra, Matthew Marsh and wife, Cortney, Abby Brown and husband, Ryan; 7 grandchildren: Madeline, Olivia, Sophie, Marta, Enoch, Ezra, and Shepard; Nieces & Nephews: Bill, Kelli, John Will, Alison, Carmen, Amber, Luke, Lee, and Joe; and many close friends.
Mr. Marsh’s burial service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Restland Cemetery, Wildwood Chapel, in Dallas, Texas at 2:00 PM. We invite you to join as we celebrate Tony’s vibrant, adventurous life.
