Torrey Lee Morgan's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Torrey Lee Morgan who left us peacefully on April 20, 2025 at the age of 68. Born on February 28, 1957. Torrey spent his childhood acting as a role model to his younger siblings Bob, Jodi, and Ken. Torrey shared a close bond with many family members, including his dear cousins, with whom he shared cherished memories and countless moments of laughter throughout the years. These cousins were not only family, but also lifelong friends who were always there to support one another. He was married to his beloved wife, Bobbie Jo, for an incredible 48 years. Together, they built a life rooted in mutual respect, laughter, and unwavering support. Their bond was an example of love that stood the test of time and will continue to inspire those who knew them. As a father, Torrey was a guiding light. He raised three sons Torrey Jr, Jared, and Michael with patience, kindness, and wisdom. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he took great pride in watching his sons grow into the men they are today. He was a proud Father-in-law to his two daughters-in-law, Catie and Corrina, who he welcomed with open arms into his heart and home. Torrey leaves behind five grandchildren Miles, Molly, Emmylou, Lincoln and Archer who brought him immense pride and joy. His legacy will live on through their lives as the time they were able to spend with their Pa will forever be treasured and precious memories. Throughout his life, Torrey was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and sense of humor. Whether it was lending a helping hand to a friend or sharing a joke with his family, he always knew how to brighten a room and lift the spirits of those around him. His presence will be sorely missed, but his memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him. Torrey is survived by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held on April 26 at 10:30 am at Restland Funeral Home in Richardson. Torrey was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his love and influence will continue to resonate in the lives of those he leaves behind.
