Tracey Keith Matthews, 58, of Tool, TX passed away on August 13, 2019 in Plano, TX. He was born on March 24, 1961 to William Andrew Matthews and Lourinda Marvourene Matthews in Dallas, TX.Tracey was an Amazing Artist, Carpenter, Social Entertainer, and Terrific Friend to many. He loved life, people and all that God created. Tracey will be remembered for his optimism and the passion with which he shared his knowledge of God’s animal and Plant Kingdoms.Tracey is survived by his life partner and soulmate, Tracey Bauguss of Rockwall, TX and her son, Jake Bauguss of Rockwall, TX; daughter, Katy Clark and her Husband Ryan Clark of McKinney; granddaughter, Lola Clark of McKinney, TX; mother, Lourinda Marvourene Matthews of Pauls Valley, OK; Sisters, Martha Jane Matthews of Dallas, TX and Michielle Orsini of Manassas, VA; brothers, Terri Matthews of Pauls Valley, OK and Bill Matthews of Colleyville, TX; and many loving nephews, nieces; great nephews and nieces; and cousins.The family requests that any flower arrangements sent, be all white to honor Tracey’s last wishes.In lieu of flowers if one desires, Tracey asks that donations be made to the Environmental Defense Fund to help save the monarch butterflies.Sponsor an acre of milkweed habitat with EDF’s Habitat Exchange – Environmental Defense FundSpecial thanks to the Medical and Chaplain Staff at Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center Plano, TX.
