Tracie Cook

Tracie Cook, a vibrant soul with a fierce love for her family and a gift for capturing the beauty of life through a lens, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the age of 57.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Tracie called the city home most of her life. She was a proud and devoted mother to her three sons, David, Dalton, and Andrew, and a beaming grandmother to her beloved grandson, Jude. Her children and grandchild were the absolute pride and joy of her life, the center of her world, and the legacy she cherished most.
Tracie had a passion for photography, often seeing the world in frames of light and shadow, always looking for the perfect moment to capture. But it wasn’t just behind the camera where her light shone, she was funny, brave, and always full of life. Her warmth, humor, and unshakable strength left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her older sister, Carolyn Jo Bickers-Hough.
She is survived by her parents, Rolinda Click and Michael Bickers; her sisters, Terri Juhren and Kelly Taylor; her sons, David Magocsi, Dalton McBride, and Andrew Palmore; and her cherished grandson, Jude Magocsi. She also leaves behind a host of loving family members and dear friends who will carry her memory forward with love.
A memorial service celebrating Tracie’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Family and friends are invited to come together in remembrance of a life lived with heart, laughter, and love.
She will be missed more than words can express, but her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the family she loved so fiercely.
