Tressie Fayne Choate's Obituary
Tressie Fayne (Allen), beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt passed away peacefully joining our lord and savior Jesus Christ in heaven on Tuesday, January 24 at age 83. She was born September 1,1933 in Wills Point, TX. She is survived by her husband, Richard Choate, sons Michael Choate and Scott Choate, daughters-in-law Lori Choate and Louise Choate, sisters Charlcie Snody and Gay Rogers, sister-in-law Normal Mobley, grandson Austin Choate and his wife Jacquelyn Choate, great granddaughters Seraphim and Sibyl, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie Allen and Neely Allen (Hazelwood). Tressie and Richard were married on July 18, 1953. They resided in the Dallas area during their marriage and established deep roots in Farmers Branch where they raised their two sons. Tressie was a dedicate wife, mother and grandmother with her family being her lifelong priority. She also had a long, successful career in banking, finance and real estate. As a woman of faith with a kind and gentle soul, Tressie will be missed by her many friends and family. A service in celebration of her life will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2017 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
