I am heartbroken to hear of Trevor's passing. He was was such a wonderful and caring person, and so full of life. Always upbeat, he had so many stories to tell. I will never forget his loud, commanding but sincere voice either telling me a joke or a story, or greeting me as "Linda #2". I visited him a few months ago and it's hard to believe he's gone. I always thought of him like my grandfather and I will miss him greatly. My deepest condolences to the family. May you find happiness in the memories you shared and comfort knowing he is finally at peace.

Trevor was a partner with the Locke Purnell Rain Harrell law firm (now Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell) when I first joined and remained with us to the end. Although I did not work directly with him, Trevor was the sort of lawyer and man whose best qualities are so true and fundamentally a part of himself that you feel the law firm bolstered by his belonging, its business elevated by his presence, and your self improved by just having made his acquaintance. He thought and felt deeply, and he took June's passing hard. We all miss them both greatly.

I so vividly remember Mr. Rees-Jones' presence on the HPISD School Board, and as the father of my good friend Rob. He wrote me a beautiful reference for grad school, and stepped out of line to hand me my diploma at the HPHS 1971 graduation. I pray that your family finds peace with his passing. I will always remember him.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Rees-Jones. When I went to work at Locke Purnell Boren Laney & Neely in 1975 as an inexperienced "kid" of 21, he was one of the first to make me feel welcome. He was always ready with a friendly greeting and amusing conversation, in his booming voice and with a twinkle in his eye, and yet he was the epitome of legal professionalism. I had not seen Mr. R-J in many years since I left LPBL&N, but I always remember him fondly from my years there. Valerie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all the rest of your family.

Belated best wishes to the family. Trevor was my citizenship merit badge counselor and Christmas greenery "wrangler." Later a legal career counselor. A lot of admiration and respect from me and my parents. Fondly remembered.
