Troy Benson Williams' Obituary
Troy Benson Williams was born on September 24, 1928 in Gladewater, Texas and passed away on January 5, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by father, Lonnie Williams; mother, Lucille Williams; and brother, Lonnie Ray Williams. Survived by wife, Carrie Williams; sisters, Nelda Williams and Mary Wheeler; brother, Don Williams; daughter, Barbara Horner and Susie Schillerstrom; son, Scott Williams; grandson, Jeff Williams; and granddaughter, Shelby Schillerstrom. Troy graduated Woodrow Wilson High School as he also attended the University of Corpus Christi. In 1950 he married his wife Carrie Williams. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Dallas for over 50 years. Retired at John K. Burch Co. As he was an avid golfer at the Dallas Athletic Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dallas Athletic Club Employee Education Foundation. Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1 PM in the Restland Memorial Park.
