I remember sitting and listening to Tug tell stories about so many interesting things in his past experiences, and thinking what a great story-teller he was, but his eyes really twinkled when he talked about his wife and children and their family adventures. A great family man. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace, and may God's love forever surround him. My love and prayers go out to Jeanette, Paul, Dee, Janie and all who loved him.
Lit a candle in memory of Tug Southwood
When we were kids, he?d ask us if we wanted coffee and a cigarette for breakfast. He taught my little brother to play blackjack. He worked as an usher at the Dallas Chaparrals basketball games and us kids got in for free. My Mom made him a cake with styrofoam under the icing for his birthday. He was so shocked when he cut into it. We couldn?t stop laughing. He attended my little brothers little league football games and gave him much encouragement. He had a wonderful thickly charming deep voice, that we will miss dearly. ??. Hit ?em straight in heaven, Tug. Love, the Burns family.

My fondest memory of Uncle Tug was always getting a big hug and kiss. He loved his sports and cigars! A sweet man with a caring heart who will be missed by family and friends.
