Tuyet Anh Dunkin's Obituary
Tuyet Anh Dunkin, aged 80, passed away on Sunday, October 23 in Garland, Texas after a long illness. She is survived by her three sons, Gordon, Robert and Alan, and predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Dunkin, and a son, Roger. Born in Vietnam, Tuyet overcame great hardships in her youth, met her husband during the war, got married, and came to the United States to raise her family, first living in New Jersey before moving to Richardson in 1980, where she lived with her family until this year. Fierce, independent, loyal to a fault and a force to be reckoned with, she will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers a donation to Meals on Wheels in her memory.
A viewing will be held at Restland Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, October 31 from 12-2:30pm to be followed by a private burial later that day.
