Kristi Peterson
I loved Ann Mize. She was like a mother to me and I will always remember her sweet countenance and caring manner. What rings in my ears tonight is her soft giggle…it was like a purr. She demonstrated kindness in so many ways and I have her to thank for the wonderful orange crepe dress I wore to the Ike and Tina Turner concert in 1965. She was an artist who had an eye for beauty and a talent for painting…and a tremendous love for her husband and his enormous musical talent. She loved her family and took great delight in each of you. I thank you, Urith Annette, a.k.a. ANN or more appropriately, Mrs. Mize, for the role you played in my life. Rest in peace and jazz it up with Jack now that you're reunited.
