Val Vincent Krusz's Obituary
KRUSZ, VAL VINCENT was born February 12, 1920 in Dallas and moved on to his eternal home with Jesus on Easter Sunday April 20, 2014. Val attended Forest Ave. High School and served in the Army Air Corps in WWII as physical education instructor. He studied engineering at SMU but had a career in retailing for 54 years as a buyer for Neiman Marcus. Val married Frankie Keyes in 1944 and remained married 63 years until parted by death. Val was a founding member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and spent many years at Church of the Resurrection. He loved fishing with his brother, Bill and was an avid gardener. Val is preceded in death by his brother, Walter; wife, Frankie and granddaughter, Hannah Grace. He is survived by his son, Kary Krusz and daughter-in-law, Dana; daughter, Karen Henson and son-in-law, Robert, along with 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Service will be held at Restland Whispering Waters Mausoleum, 11:00am Friday April 25th.
